Smiths: BTW as a drinking admin of this forum i want the like half dozen of you who post to know that it is appreciated that you do. all of you have the option to post on fark, and some of you do pull double duty, but still it's nice to know that you still are posting here.
i will probably be unbanned at some point and all, and we'll probably end up doing RAW and shit on Fark except on nights when they don't put a thread up (like on the day we got Farkback Jim yelled at for being a prick)... but it's cool that this is a nice Off-Topic place as well where you don't have to worry about your post being deleted because you wanted to engage another Farker in conversation mid-thread.
Call me Pollyanna but this forum might survive for a while just because there are no shenanigans from the mods here. Except for scripting shenanigans, that is.

yeah those are my bad, but i think after i caught that Poll thing (thanks Ed Becker!) it's actually pretty tight.
but we have many who just will always be on Fark and will never use elsewhere and whatever on them. I swear as much as we're only a few folks it's like "at least we know we're a few folks in a small pond".
to see threads there just be FNB and robsul over and over and over with random lurker but really not having those lurkers replied to feels like it's a 1 on 1 conversation with people butting in each time.
i'm drinking so just letting thoughts flow. nothing against anyone.
but i gotta say, the OT stuff here is more fun. and safe.
I don't mind FNB when he talks about old school wrestling, but robsul's constant contrariness gets old. Real old.

the thing with Fark's moderation is you never feel safe calling people out on shit anymore.
it's like they said in that ask a mod thread: they can't ban someone for having a dumb opinion, but they can ban someone for attacking that person for having that opinion.
