so michael cole actually does random other shit.
The Lawler incident shows Cole KNOWS how to do commentary, he KNOWS how to be a journalist, and he KNOWS how to speak like an adult. It really is 80% Vince feeding him lines. He's that tightly constrained. It happened because he was the commentator who wasn't an ex-wrestler or one of Vince Sr.'s buddies. Vince molded him to be the commentator he wanted to hear, not ol' JR with all his Mid South-isms.
