Just kidding, I know Bret's promos were always crap. I just really liked his workingman's attitude in the ring, and how he wrestled. I'm a giant mark for his feud with Bob Backlund.

Even tonight Punk was hot, the crowd was hot and Bret... well, Bret was there. |

Especially when they still don't fucking have opponents for NOC. Not one person in that match has had an opponent announced, though we know PTP will probably go for the tag titles for the third ppv in a row. And since this is WWE, winning one out of three will make them the better team and Kofi Truth will probably break up and never get a rematch.

I guess that's why I liked him. He was the straight man to whatever crazy fucker was trying to take him on, be it Lawler, Kane (Yankem), Owen, Michaels, or whoever. He would always be like, "Whatever, STFU and wrestle," and the key thing, is he wouldn't win 100% of the time. So his storylines were more fun to watch. Bret would suffer setbacks, sometimes massive ones.
