8 year old me never gave a shit about adult crap or if it was not "adult" enough.
i think we all just got spoiled by the Attitude crap leading up to the pre-TVPG WCW Buyout year 2001+ when it really did feel like they were going with the "audience that grew up and gave us the ratings deserves attention" mentality.
now that they are going "ehh, we need to market to new kids and new fans" it's just embarassing.
there's a middleground somewhere, but it does not involve fucking Funaksaurus dancing with kids in the ring every fucking week and FUCKING DOING IT SINCE LAST FUCKING NOVEMBER/DECEMBER.

i liked interconteintntal champions more than wwf champions in the day, cuz the champion was always going to be hogan. even i, as a kid watching the royal rumble (89-92 i think i don't remember years) knew it was just going to be hogan.
but IC? could be anyone!
It's why I think the World title needs to be merged into the WWE belt. There are too many belts. 3 singles belts should be the max limit, no more. 4 belts waters everything down to where your IC champ is pointless and the US belt is for jobbers like Santino.

I'd actually go one step further, and get rid of the US belt too. The 3rd tier belt should be an actual Internet title, since WWE has bought into Tout and promotes so much on Twitter. It's a logical move considering a TV belt is a dated gimmick, and the internet is where WWE wants to do more of its marketing. It fits right into their pre-show Youtube matches, and it's a built-in program for Zack Ryder.

Cody and Tensai lost to Mysterio and Botcheroo. Daniel Bryan and Kane have been doing hilarious Anger Management skits, I'm really shocked that they're as entertaining as they are. I missed the first 20 minutes but apparently Punk beat up Lawler (which is why it's Solo Cole or guest commentary). Del Rio vs. Cena and Sheamus vs. Punk was made for later, but Punk wound up leaving the arena telling AJ it was one of his "personal days" and he was taking the day off. He also trolled the shit out of Chicago in the process, which was really good. Ziggles stole a win from Orton, and Sheamus wound up facing Swagger, with Del Rio watching at ringside. That's what led to what you just saw. Cena-Del Rio later tonight. Also, Punk > Miz on commentary by a country mile.
