Dry cleaning was getting to expensive to remove all the shit stains on his other colored trunks.

Actually, that is one of the better ways to build a heel champion without resorting to a Cody (formerly known as a Dusty finish).

I think people need to remember that, as bad as WWE books it, heels actually are supposed to steal wins against upper card faces. It's supposed to create the premise for a rematch later.
