Nice to see the heroic babyface beating the hell out of the dastardly heel with foreign objects before Punk did the Punk thing.

....and this is supposed to cement Punk as a heel?
ain't working, because I'm happy as hell.
And the Chicago crowd must me, too, since they were so heavily muted.

And the crowd STILL cheers Punk.

LucklessWonder: Punk drives a Chrysler? Ugh.
It's a rental. It was in the opening with Indiana plates on it. My old man drives a Dodge.

If Punk still keeps true to straightedge at 35 like he claims, then he drives either a 1992 Chevrolet Cavalier or a 1989 Dodge Caravan.

Honestly, I enjoyed the show tonight. The action was good (Ryback excluded), the angles were good... everything clicked. For once.

This was the first RAW in a while that didn't feel like it was actively insulting me. Might be because I missed hour 1. Or it might simply be that Miz/Cole on commentary felt fresh.

The Rundown
Monday Night Raw gave us 8 matches. % of the 8 were 3 minutes or less. Only 2 exceeded 10 minutes.
Randy Orton vs. Dolph Ziggler w/Vickie Guerrero 13 Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes and Tensai w/Sakamoto 8 Non-Title Match: Jack Swagger vs. Sheamus 3 Eve vs. Kaitlyn 3 Jinder Mahal vs. Ryback 2.5 US Title Match: Antonio Cesaro w/Aksana vs. Santino 2 Zack Ryder vs. Heath Slater 2.5 Falls Count Anywhere Match: John Cena vs. Alberto Del Rio 13
the total was 46 minutes of bell-to-bell action
Out of a 185 minute show, that gave us
24.8% of the show dedicated to matches.
Notable not-match segments included *the setup for the inevitable AJ/Vickie match. You just know they're going to have a match, and it'll most likely be for the GM position. *the enjoyable Anger Management Class skits *the mostly enjoyable until it got predictable Hug It Out *the not-enjoyable Punk Leaves, Ricardo Gets Clobbered, and Ricardo Is Gonna Sue skits
