Yeah, I realize that's an odd way to run a board, but it's best that everyone knows how to avoid having old Auntie Cheesus put one in a "time out" corner.
Harassment of others is a time out. This means that you are actually causing another some sort of mental anguish and the other party can back it up. I don't mean our usual teasing or riffing on each other, I mean the kind of verbal harassment that actually causes another grief. For example - if certain parties from a board based in Kentucky dropped in and started dogging on people, they would find that they are not able to post until I can be assured that they learn this is not their personal sandbox and bullshit will not be tolerated.
Doing something that may cause me financial or possible criminal liability will definitely cause me to skip right over a "time out" and go straight for a switch. This means no inline nudity - front or back. I cannot limit the admission here to 18+, so assume a child plant from the AFA or FBI is lurking in the weeds like a rattlesnake, waiting to strike. However, a tasteful armbra is acceptable.
Pulling a 4CHAN "The mods aren't around" CP stunt will not only get you banned, but I will report the IP address to the authorities. I'm a mother and grandmother - I do not put up with that crap. If you're real good, I'll tell stories of when I contracted to the FBI as a computer examiner and part of my job involved recovering CP images from suspect computers. If I never see some of that again, it will be too soon.
Back in the old BBS days, I was a SysOp. I banned exactly one user in the space of three years my BBS was in operation - and that was because the little prick found out where I lived, after his mom asked me to restrict his game time during finals, and put a rock through my car windshield.
If you're skating close to the time out corner, don't worry - you'll get warned long before you hit the hot seat.
