"What is mead?" you ask? It is wine made from honey instead of grapes. It is possibly the oldest fermented beverage on Earth. It was the drink of the ancients, from the Sumerians to the Vikings. It's in Beowulf about a dozen times.

I don't like mead, it's too sweet for me. I tried to like it, but I just could not acquire a taste for it.
