I have used this since I saw the initial link yesterday. It works like a champ. Mr. Smiths, if you actually enjoy coding and want to dress the place up, please let me know.

The download button is directly to the right of the title. Don't feel bad I couldn't find it at first either. :-)

Smiths: I use Chrome and it works fine.
Also, if you plan on expanding it at all, font colors would be off the hook. Just saying. ;-)

With the ability to edit a post after the fact, the only time the preview button is important is when posting a link that you have hidden with other text - like this. Edit: Yes, I did that using the quick reply box.

I was wondering as I went hunting for the codes supported on ProBoards I saw they have a "Coding" section. do boards individually get to add tweaks?
Yes, each board can add headers, footers and all kinds of code - including a news fader and skins/forum colors. Unfortunately, I am not a coder. If you want to play with it, I will give you appropriate access.

that'd rock if ya could! i'm trying to figure out why quote anchors seem to get fucked up for me when I click my reply buttons and then submit the post. my quote button puts double hashes. need to fix that.
Okay, you should have full access to the administrative features, because you are now an admin. The rest of you should be very, very afraid.

Click the link that Smiths put in the first post. When you get to the page, click this: You will have to go through the dialogue boxes to give it permission, but otherwise that is it

strahdd: So I'm dumb. How do I get this to work in chrome?
Okay, for my Chrome, I went here, clicked on the install button and installed it natively to Chrome. Yes, I'm odd - I don't do coding or web page making but I run four different browsers on my system.

Got it to work. With the new update to Chrome, I had to manually install it instead of it asking to add it like it used to.

I am using the Greasemonkey script with Firefox and noticed something weird when I was in the thread about voting for the possible addition of new forums. The toolbar for the quick reply box appeared on top of the poll section, but the buttons still worked fine. Here's a screenshot I took to show it. i.imgur.com/JKQRr.jpg

Yo, Smiths...
I noticed that the Greasemonkey stuff on the quick reply doesn't show up on threads that contain polls. I noticed it here and on the we-crash proboards forum.

i had to do an update for the script for that. the buttons show up above the poll on older versions of the script.
are you running the latest version of the script?
fyi: script features have been made global on this forum per Auntie Cheesus. So even without greasemonkey installed here, the stuff should appear everywhere. so like IE and Opera and whatnot should like it too.
Edit: Summunabitch yeah wtf. native footers in scratchpad forum seem to disable the poll and show no buttons. ruh roh shaggy.
No worries - not that many things that need to be voted upon here.

Thanks Smiths! Works awesomely!
/I know we don't have many polls here, but the demolition derby group on PB has a bunch that usually turn into discussions. //I'm digging the shit out of Greasemonkey.
