Smiths: it was a hand lift to start the one...two..three.. thing but the camera was at a horrible angle and it really looked like he lifted it over the rop when the reality was he lifted it away from the rope, Roode looked up and saw the rope, and extended his fingers. Yeah, it was weird that he was reaching out to grab the ropes but was too far away, but then when the ref raised his hand, he suddenly could grab the rope.
