Creationist Ape: TNA needs to book smaller venues. the It's Me card? That Raw was filmed at the Stockton Civic Center. Might have held 5,000 people in all. Hammerstein Ballroom was a regular venue for WWF and ECW. It would be smart business to book these smaller venues, for money and to get a legit packed house. PARK WINS!! AND NO ABYSS!! That can be a double-edged sword. If they book a bigger room, they can configure it however they want easier. How did tickets sell? Is it a big walk-up town? What's available in the market? I would also think there could possibly be technical issues doing live TV from an older, smaller venue that wasn't built with consideration for TV.

Ed Becker: I would also think there could possibly be technical issues doing live TV from an older, smaller venue that wasn't built with consideration for TV. You do have a point. But that said, there has to be a middle ground. Decent venues in good markets that won't cost half a million dollars to run the show.

I have been saying this for years but...Sting, please retire. I'd buy him as a manager, but honestly in that suit and with those mannerisms, it would be as a heel manager.

I like that the A&8 is starting to implode. It's been over a year now since the storyline started. It is reaching the natural conclusion. MEM re-formed specifically to tear them down. Members are quitting, members are starting to revolt. And it all feels organic. They aren't just breaking them apart, and there isn't going to be an A&8 Wolfpack. The reign of Aces and Eights is coming to an end, and it's going down pretty much the way it should.

How much you think they are paying mystery guy? I'm going to guess he's getting paid 2-3 late paychecks to talent per week.

pmoneyallstar: I finally have the night off to watch live with you allz and im getting pc questions from old people. kick them in their nuts. and put a maxi pad in. HAIL SABIN I think the maxi pad for ball sweat is the best idea since ... Ever.. Im on a sabbatical from my 2nd dj gig. No hot water fir a month and a half. Paychecks are bouncing, and drug dealers hang out in the parking lot for hours without coming in and cops dont give a fuck... Not the safest place. My 1st gig is awesome but only have 3 shifts a week.. Trying to prove my worth.

Smiths: DougieAXP : REMEMBER THIS?! I Said's summaries were just golden. now it's like.. ponies and attention whore wizard you crush on and just "let's get to 1004 lol here's more belts". i like being farkless. dnsmasq blocking is awesome for me. Well there's a pony revolt ongoing but regardless, it's the only Fark thread I can read without flagging half the posters in purple and rolling my eyes. FWC threads are silly but they're harmless silly, not filled with douchebaggery in 32 flavors.

Creationist Ape: You do have a point. But that said, there has to be a middle ground. Decent venues in good markets that won't cost half a million dollars to run the show. However, you don't pay the full bill for using half the arena. That's just a part of the tab. Let me use Milwaukee for an example. Suitable venues for TV wrestling are actually very few: - Bradley Center. Seats 17,000. One of the oldest NBA arenas. Still pretty well kept up to date - US Cellular Arena. 12k Built in 1950. Now used for indoor soccer and some college hoops. I have no idea as to how sound it is technically as there hasn't really been anything major shot live from there in who knows how long. - Eagles Club Ballroom. 4500 for wrestling. Old building. ECW ran it. Horrible bathroom facilities, ballroom is on an upper floor. Setup is a royal PITA. No A/C. Electrical can be "fun." Cheap rent, non-union facility. You'd think that if TNA were to run here, this could be the perfect venue size-wise, but I'd think they'd run the arena and section it off to fit their needs.

We want to believe we can dictate this shit but at the end of the day it's a goddamn TV show and should be treated as such. Ross/Rachel stretched out for how many fucking seasons? Jim/Pam? TV is always about extending shit far longer than they shoyld or overkilling crap. Fact: Sheldon hasn't said "Bazinga" for over 3 seasons of BBT. Yet it's on every T-shirt. This is wrestling and it has to end soon.
