FWC Japan logo question

All,

As some of you may know, I am preparing to open a second round of t-shirt buys, given the number of new faces in the mainland threads, and some questions I have received about the potential to buy a shirt.

My original plan was to offer the exact same shirts as before, which were lovingly designed by Hobblekitty. In addition though, I had an idea to introduce a new design theme, in the hopes of offering both designs to the larger FWC. My theory is that some of the older folks may not want two CenaCat shirts, but they may spring for something new. Ideally, I can garner enough orders for both designs to move forward with both. If this new idea doesn't cut it though, I'll just revert to the original.

The new design will be a mocked up Gredunza belt, and as part of the overall design, I'd like to feature the FWC logo, along with the FWC Japan logo. Which all leads me to my main question here: What is the official FWC Japan logo?

Since I'm sure someone will ask, the dual logo idea is my attempt to tie all of the FWC together in one graphic, and recognize everyone. Fark mod cr@p aside, we're all wrestling fans here, and the members of this board gave birth to the entire Gredunza concept to begin with. So, I'd like to honor that in this potential new design. Either way, I will not include any Japan logo or reference in the design unless this group approves it first. It's just the right way to do things.

Anyway, I've already typed far too long, so I apologize for the tl;dr post. Thank you in advance for your input (and some snark too).

I kind of suspected that, but didn't want to assume either way. If there is interest from the group, I'd be happy to hold off while we work up a Japan logo.

lol, I like it! I suppose I should have specified a few things though...

--At the moment, the shirt will be black, and the entire belt design will be a gold(ish) color.
--Any actual text will likely be black or white. This keeps the cost down by reducing the number of colors needed in the design
--Finally, the space where the logos will go is somewhat small, so we'd have to shrink any logo down a bit. This may make the cat face hard to see. I do like the cat face that you chose, but as a plan B, we may want to try the original Cena Cat face, just to see how it looks.

Overall, I love the idea of the cat face on the sun, though.

If I may, I'd like to suggest a stylized cat face over the rising sun, for visibility's sake. GMJ, I could work on an Illustrator file for the cat face if you'd like.

Sure, please do! I appreciate the help! I have 0 visual design skills, so I just focus on generating ideas, lol. If not for Hobblekitty, the first shirt would have never happened, and I'd love for this shirt to be a design collaboration.

She said that she's always liked the old AWA logo, and wanted to try to combine the Japan and Fluttershy elements as well. She also wanted me to emphasize that she's open to any and all comments and criticisms. So, if you all hate the logo, feel free to say so - it won't hurt her feelings. (As my designer friends have told me at work, criticism yields better results than compliments most of the time, lol)

I want to do something using Cena Kitty. It'll take a bit because I want to render CK in a stylized, vector logo in Inkscape. I love Inkscape for logos. It's much easier to scale vectors there than in Gimp.

Oh and to whoever asked about the FWC logo on the board, it's just Arial font, capitalized. The AJPW one was the same.

Yes, for sure. If we have enough interest to order both shirts, you'll at least get an original design shirt on the house. If we only have one design (whatever it is), it's on me.
