For those of us who hated that Pearce didn't get the nod, relax. Perhaps Adam didn't want it. He got on TV and got a payday. A shitty one, if from what I heard, is correct. I'm not gonna go into numbers, but outside of trans and hotel, Pearce and most of the part time talent (remember the girls getting shitty paydays?) for that matter make less than the job guys for WWF made back in the day and for that matter what I made working as an announcer and tech guy in demolition derbies. When I was "in demand" and I came back to the business, I was told "brother, you're making as good of money, if not better as the guys on the top of the card and you don't have to take a single bump! That's awesome! You have my blessing and don't forget you're always one of the boys and you're always welcome in this locker room or anywhere else."

If Adam's schedule on his FB page is up to snuff, he's basically booked every weekend through August or September. He lives in CA now, has some young kids. He might be better off working his dates than being under contract to TNA. Remember the clause regarding video and iPPV's. He's a smart guy. Scrapiron will do okay for himself.

Still haven't watched Impact, haven't had time. An interesting interview with Bischoff is floating around the sheets. They're ahead of the game in so much as having shit done down the road. Work the plan, plan the work.

And think of it this way: Most indy promotions pay "names" okay and also pick up hotel and trans, whether it's gas or an airline ticket. Do a Friday-Saturday-Sunday run, get your payday and you're home late Sunday or Monday morning. Recover or go to the "real job" or spend time with the family and get back on the road again for another weekend run. And, yeah, the TV exposure doesn't hurt him and it can help with bringing asses into the seats at the shows he's working.
