It isn't so much not understanding the difference as it is being in denial about the necessity, lol. A few years back my boss decided he wanted to set up an Access database which would be used for a myriad of pension administration items. No one in the office knew Access, and since I somehow became "the computer person" he sent me on one of those two day crash course seminars in Access. He then expected me to build this database. We barely got past the start menu in that class. Needless to say it never got done, and I have been paralyzed in fear of Access ever since, lol.
