How many of you remember how furious fans were when SouthPark pranked the world on April Fool with a Terrance and Phillip special? I know that I was PISSED I've been reading the butthurt on the Internet today about Hornswaggle. Was WWE trying to have a little joke with themselves and making fun of the dropped angle, or was it seriously, "Fuck you, we do what we want. Kids like leprechauns and jokes."

In a way, I was okay with the "the emails are coming from under the ring" bit last night, especially since the laptop saved us from that horrific AJ segment that opened the show.
The reason the April Fools episode of South Park had so many viewers up in arms was because we were expecting the conclusion to "Eric Cartman's dad". I think I was more irritated at the lame assed plot twist of Eric's mom is a hermaphrodite and impregnated herself than I was about the Terrance and Phillip special.

Hornswoggle as GM was a shitty resolution to the angle, sure, but it was a largely forgotten angle. It matters as much as if they were to reveal the driver of the White Hummer that ran over Kevin Nash on Nitro.

Hornswoggle as GM was not the best resolution to the angle. However, it was a long forgotten, mostly hated angle and it did allow for Hornswoggle to make an appearance without risking an injury while Leprechaun: Origins is still in pre-production.

A throwaway segment that people, if they are still ruminating about it, are taking entirely too seriously, IMHO. I described it as "Mae Young births a hand" bad at the time, but I couldn't give a shit less about it now.
