Pi has a bunch of photos that he took as well, but these are the photos I took, and
some commentary to go with them. Beware, I am not a photographer by any
stretch, so some of these pics are not great.
The first match of the night was Robbie E vs. Jesse.
This actually turned into Tara vs. Velvet Sky.
Robbie E. Shouts of "Woo Woo Woo You Know It"
broke out amongst the smarky crowd.
Velvet pops Tara off the ropes and they both go flying
Velvet Sky, so close I could tweak a nipple. But I wouldn't do that because she
was very nice and she had gotten into a car accident the night before,
poor thing.
The next match was a tag match with Super Mex vs. Matt Morgan and Joey Ryan.
Hernandez and Chavo approach the ring.
The Blueprint Matt Morgan berates the crowd before he gets into the ring.
The tag match. The trunks Joey Ryan were wearing are an absolute
travesty among men.
The next match was my favorite of the night, Bully Ray vs. Austin Aries.
A Double came out first.
The Greatest Man Who Ever Lived. Sorry about the pic quality. The
lights just washed some of the faces out completely. I tweaked it as much
as I dared in an attempt to improve the clarity.
Bilbo? Bilbo Baggins? What I didn't realize about Aries is how damn
short he is. I think the man has a Napoleon complex, LOL. I don't think he appreciated
the "Punk is Better!" chants being lobbed his way.
This is my favorite photo of the evening from my favorite moment of the
evening. Bully Ray.
Golden Calves casting a stubby shadow.
Bully and Aries in the ring with Earl Hebner. Earl was wearing a shirt
that says "Damn Right I Did!" which he revealed after the "you screwed Bret"
chants died down. At which point they started up again, lol.
This match was a lot of slapstick comedy. There was much slapping
of asses and suggestions of rectal probing.
Bully Ray takes it to Aries only five feet from where I was standing!!
Yeah, I marked out for this one, LOL.
Devon and Luke Gallows representing Aces and Eights. Luke Gallows had
more oil on him than a gay for pay stripper. He got in P$'s face after the
match was over when P$ made some comment about Festus. I asked
him what he said but he had no idea, it was too loud in there, lol.
The Cowboy James Storm comes out to face Aces and Eights.
Samoa Joe joins James Storm against Aces and Eights.
Aaaaaand... Aces and Eights proceeds to lay James Storm out hard.
Sorry bout your damn luck, Cowboy.
This pic came out horribly but I am posting it anyway. Bobby Rooooooooooooooo
in the last match of the night.
Jeff Hardy poses in the ring before his match with Rude.
This was a match for the Championship belt and while Rude has Hardy
laid out here, predictably the belt did not change hands.
I have to say Rude spits. A lot. Every time Hardy gave him a good punch he
would spit all over the place. I feel bad for the crowd sitting close to the ring on
the other side as they bore the brunt of his salival assaults. (I don't think
salival is a word but I like it so there)
So over all it was a very fun night. I have to say I was impressed with TNA and
the access they give the fans to the wrestlers. All told we met and got autographs
from Tara, Jesse, Matt Morgan, Hernandez, Chavo, Samoa Joe, Austin Aries
and Velvet Sky. And the deals at the merch table were very good. For a total
of $70 I got a back sack, 3 DVDs, a T-shirt, a program and 3 action figures.
(Two of the action figures were Velvet Sky, required to get backstage to see her).
Here are the pics of P$ with some of the wrestling stars.
Matt Morgan was heckling me while I took the picture because I was
struggling with my camera and taking too long. Dick, lol.
I had to take a pic of the autograph I got from Austin Aries because
he put that mustache there.
