As someone who works in radio and holds a Class C Radiotelephone operator's license, which is meaningless these days, I heard a few things on WTMJ-AM/Milwaukee that made me think a:) What the fuck and b:) why didn't they hit the delay...
During the call in show bought by the local dealership interest that people call in about their car problems and the panel tells them to take the car to a local dealer's service department. I like to listen to compare stuff other than "bring your car in as well as the astro-glide and we'll fix that $50 gimmick for $300". Anyways... BTW, I'm a car guy and I hate the rape that goes on at shops. That's where you find marks.
So this elderly lady calls in about her brake pedal being stiff. She bought Crown Vics from the dealer that one of the yokels is with. (BTW, same dealer that my CV was bought from. 21 years ago.) They can't figure out why her brakes are fucked up. I can't either unless I drive the goddamned car.
And then I hear this: Remember that this is coming from a 70-ish lady on the conservative talk station... "That brake pedal is stiffer than a hard cock." The hosts went to a 60 second spot, I had to stuff my brains in my ears as a broadcaster. The next caller congratulated the "talent" on being able to compose themselves in a minute and went on to his question. The obvious answer was to take the car to a dealer's service department. Fuck those hacks.

So I go along my Saturday afternoon, waiting for the Brewers. Who overachieved. They have this hack working a political show. No calls. Poorly laid out. Anyways, host is interviewing the local sheriff. He leads up to the question and says something like, "this is not an obscenity, but this is chickenshit."
Yep, over the air. No dump. I hope heads roll over there. That's one of the conservative talk stations in town. Great leadership from the PD on training people. I could give a flying rat fuck on their political point of view. Put the goddamned station in delay and hit the dump button.
