it's not just that TNA puts on two hours of quality programming, it's that those two hours are better than any two-hour portions of the five hours of "main" programming WWE puts on in that span. It's just not even close anymore. This show doesn't insult my intelligence (well, except when Hogan forgets the last name of a character, but as someone pointed out that's because of kay-fab vs. reality confusing him and really, when hasn't he had issues with reality?) like RAW and to a much lesser extent Smackdown do. I say much lesser, because Smackdown is almost always 1/3rd decent to good (entertaining at least), 1/3 is blah to crap, and 1/3 is recaps/pre-tape vignettes. The ratio is better than RAW's and the overall amount of at-least-somewhat-entertaining programming is higher as well. Note that some of the recaps from RAW I consider to be worth a second watch, or it's something I didn't watch with as much interest on Monday that I now want to pay a little more attention to on Friday/Saturday/whenever I get around to watching SD. Neither WWE show holds a candle to Impact right now though. Like Smiths, Slammiversary is when I started watching, and I used to read/hear about the obnoxiously absurd shit they had on before and am blown away that this is the same company. FUCK we only have one more live impact after this huh?

Verbaltoxin/Lingualvenom: Smiths : Creationist Ape: Every match has a Big Event feel to it. And with the people involved, they're going to break their backs to deliver something great.
they still are lacking a Samoa Joe match and even RVD/KEnnedy are MIA.
it's so odd to think a company like TNA is actually having me go "i want to see more of their talent!"
WWE land i go "i don't want to see these fucks anymore"
RVD, Joe and Anderson have all been on Impact w/in 2 weeks. Anderson did a run-in during a locker room brawl. I have a feeling Joe and Magnus will be at BFG. Also Joe and Magnus are still tag champs in Japan.
Don't forget, they hadn't planned on being live this long. The company is running split rosters running the live show and the house show circuit. from 411- TNA runs a split crew at the Salem Civic Center in Salem, Virginia tonight, against a live edition of Impact Wrestling. The date was booked before the expanded live schedule was announced. Mr. Anderson, Eric Young, Mickie James, and Gail Kim are advertised as appearing.

Verbaltoxin/Lingualvenom: I'm 100% sure Cena will be on TV every week he's recuperating. He missed no time whatsoever the last time he was injured.
wait, do you mean when the lesnar match happened and he was "hurt" but it was actually that he was offered time off because of the divorce? or was there a different hurt-cena-must-not-let-anyone-else-get-over period?

Senile Vince: FUCK we only have one more live impact after this huh? Nope. With the exception of the holiday shows being taped, they're live through the rest of the year. And if ratings stay as they are, i'd say there's a good chance they'll stay live. Some times the fan's voices are heard; this is one of those times.

they should do an A&8's angle at a house show during the week and air footage from it on Impact. have someone who's been off TV get a beatdown or something.

No, he hurt his shoulder a few years ago, and vacated the WWE title. It was during the long, Cena/Orton feud that never seemed to end. It's only a matter of time before they go back to that well, now that I think about it, so they can get whatever's left out of Orton and Cena before they start creeping up on 40.

WWE once again has a hot angle falling into their lap, and that's Team Friendship. So I'm just waiting for them to once again fuck up Daniel Bryan's heat. I know their match taped last at the SD show, but knowing WWE, after editing it'll be the Sheamus match. Sheamus is the most not-there champ ever, and he doesn't have to be. He can be entertaining and he has charisma, but month after month of "Destiny!!" jobbing out to him has really, really hurt him.

I'll post this before jimfromsaintpaul comes in and shits all over Impact. Remember, for all the dumb, dumb, DUMB shit Vince Russo did in TNA, for all the penis tag teams, Garrett Bischoff, 2nd coming of Erik Watts, Jeff Jarrett, the Band, screwjob finishes, S.E.X., Black Reign and Misty, Hardy showing up blitzed to a ppv, ALL OF IT, TNA has never done this: Suck on that stump.

Yep, Kane DBD has fallen into their lap. But seriously my moment of losing it with wwe was after wrestlemania with the YES thing. When they began muting the live audiences I just did not see the reason for watching.
It was like being a kid amd learning about canned laughter on TGIF. Shit just was never the same.
It's just total boneheadedness. How many times does Bryan have to turn shit into gold before they go, "Okay, okay, you're over! Here, run with the ball already!"

DON'T YOU GET IT? HE'S THE PERFECT PERSON TO CARRY THOSE SEGMENTS! ALL MY WRITERS WOULD REVOLT WITHOUT HIM THERE. WHY THE HELL WOULD I PUSH A WHINY BITCHASS GOATFACE NERD WHO'S TOO SHORT WHEN HE CAN BE CARRYING THE STUFF NOBODY WANTS TO SEE, THEREBY FORCING YOU TO WATCH MORE OF THE SHOW?
BAHAHAHAHA!

Been behind on my wrestling this week. I have 34 of 64 C'ieth missions done on FF13, so I got that going for me. hell, I played Madden instead of watching much of Raw on Monday too. Only saw about 45 minutes of that.
Whelp, here we go...
*Hogan and Shaq. *snicker*
*Angle and Styles. Open fight night. Hey, I bet they piss away an opportunity to make their tag champs look better by beating both teams (AJ/Angle - TexMex) and remove one of the conteders.
*WIZARD.
*Match should be good enough though...
*"Chavo sucks" chant. *LIVE* on Impact.
*Nice bouncing around. Entertaining stuff.
*It's not a tackle, it was just a push. #FatGuywhoAteTaz
*You get a suplex. You get a suplex. EVERY-BODY GETS A SUPLEX!!!
*Alright, I rescind my "Wizard" status. I suppose this has to do with the fact that was TECHNICALLY not a #1 contender match now that I think about it. My bad.
*HOGAN
*Triple threat? Those are spot-o-riffic generally so it could be good.
*Joe could have screwed his back up real bad with that dropkick in 2008
*GUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT Check....*ff video*
* I love James Storm's music. "Random sterotypical souther things said at random". "Sister Funkin". "Teeth losing". At least it's MEMORABLE.
*Oh and the OTHER awesome entrance (Orchestratal "Off the Chain"). Me likey.
*Bobby Roode is a great heel.
*Where is HOGAN, brother? Isn't this his idea?
*AH. There we go. Good job Impact.
*I like how Bobbby is kicking Storms ass in dress pants.
*Good old fight to a no-contest. I'll look forward to these guys on the PPV. Especially since TNA has shown the willingness to let Roode win as a heel
*Please tell me Hogan understands that Sons of Jarret have Abyss. Please.
*You've got a hall of fame addict problem, I want that!
*They should have had that Aries/Hardy bit in the ring.
*STOP SAYING TEACH AND STUDENT. STOP IT PLEASE.
*Her new boyfriend from Hollywood? Eric Young swerve?! j/k (unless I'm somehow right, lol)
*Christy Hemme? Oh rear-e!!
*"Dont talk to me in that respect!"
*"Yanks Hemme's hair* "WHATS MY NAME?!" ... I can fap to this...
*YES. Hogan and Sons of Jarrett.
*BROOKE HOGAN.
*"That's why I respect you. It's also why I am disappointed with you". BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! You can't do both dumbass.
*HOGAN.
*Ok, he knows. Thank you.
*What was that humming noise when SoJ dude was talking? Like a fan or something?
*Aries vs Bubba Ray. I guess.
*lol double commercial in the main event AGAIN
*And you have Bubba win? Really?
Not too bad a show. Nota fan of Bubba being a main eventer so the ending felt meh. Overall it was solid. 7/10.

Smiths: ooooooohkay
this adds a layer...
World Champ lost clean in the ring and doesn't look like a chump. unlike when cena pins every champion.
seriously Aries was strong as shit and had it won. Heel cheated and won.
i just don't really want BFG to be a triple threat cux of tourney and all
but ya know... Aries/Hardy/Aries could have an epic 30 minute match Wait. so he lost clean and the heel cheated? Huh? And no match with Bubba Ray is "epic". NO MATCH.

Smiths: Take the fucking Park vs. Ray match at Slammiversary. Bully Ray and Abyss worked that match perfectly and put over a story that would be laughed the fuck out of anywhere else. The WWE can't even keep a mask on a guy for a week, let alone have a character work a completely different persona without everyone going "YOU'RE REALLY THAT GUY". Epic? not from "workrate". But god damned enjoyable and epic in that they got me throwing reality out the window and just enjoying the shit out of the match.I hadn't realized that Abyss as a lawyer HADN'T been laughed out of the *bleep* out. The match itself was fine enough. The story was dumb. TNA dumb. DUDE LOVE DUMB. Jericho/Punk they were not. I use them as an example of just a DUMB storyline puncuated by outstanding in-ring work. Your wizard hat moment would be TNA at it's most TNAist. Build up storyline for months, kill it with something random and unrelated. Never reference it again.

What is the big deal over Bully Ray's calves anyway? I don't think they are that big. In fact, I think they are disproportionately small compared to the rest of him.

They are fat guy calves. Not obese guy calves mind you...FAT GUY calves. They are in great shape and have really good definition because they carry all our weight. The rest of us is out of shape. Like Bully Ray.
