The TV Champion says he's gone...

When asked by a fan if his contract expired, he said simply "Yes". No word on Bully Ray's status.

I have to think that, if D-Von's out, Bully Ray is soon to follow. This might be a problem, since D-Von is TV champ and Ray is a top heel. We shall see...

I think they pulled one out of The E's playbook here.

Guy you aren't really big on anymore is still over with fans. Put belt you don't care about on him, then rarely put belt on TV at all (let alone actually defending it). By the time the contract with the talent is over, you kill two birds with one stone because you can just pretend that belt doesn't exist.

And really, TNA doesn't need a TV title. The X-Division Championship is the de facto Workers' Belt (like the IC strap was back in the days of The Federation), you've got your World Title for the big boys, tag team belts (that actually mean about as much as the belts in WWE do because they're just being used to give Kaz and Daniels a funny nickname) and the Knockouts belt.

Seriously would not be surprised at all to see the TV Title utterly ignored until after BFG.
