Smiths, do you have an idea of what Brightcove.admin is? If so how do you get rid of it. It keeps preventing me from entering sites. Like a popup

Is it brightcove.admin or admin.brightcove.com? The reason being is admin.brightcove is a hosting service, likely for an ad here. Now that I'm back to work, I may actually spend the money to take the place ad-free.

Firefox - tools - add ons- get add ons - search for Ad Block Plus. I haven't seen an ad in Firefox in YEARS... part of why I haven't spent money to get rid of ads here.

silgryphon: I don't know what you were using for a browser, but I've been using Firefox with ABP for over 5 years and I haven't had a creepy-crawler over the last 3 computers I've owned. 2 ThinkPads and my present HP Pavilion. I don't know what antivirus or antimalware or computer you're running, but the free versions of avast and Malwarebytes kick ass. I do a boot scan weekly with avast and a full scan with Malwarebytes weekly. I also use Ccleaner nightly. You can find all of these here: savemybutt.com/downloads/
