I usually don't give a damn about who gets a time out or whatever. I'm tired and drunk and this is my opinion. If people are monitoring this board, that is nice and at least they have that going for them.

I got Smiths early on. Smiths made me laugh. I never got that from the AW. I prowl [REDACTED] every day. I've seen her posts. I can see where the mod/mins can have a problem with Smiths. Smiths is most likely in the right, as are the mod/mins. I would say that smiths is in the right.

Christ. It's the intertubes for fuck's sake.

If a mod/min is a total mark for a user? They need to go. I remember a local demolition derby that I officiated. I knew some guys and I told them to cut on their cars that were outside of the rules. I understand it. This is getting stupid. It just cost Drew five bucks. My TF which was gifted to me is over. TF is cool, but fuck me if I'm gonna drop a fiver on it.

Yes, Tony is a stuck up guy who's not fit to moderate message board discussions, which is what Fark ultimately is. Anyone who moderates a message board has to be fair and can't play favorites. If Tony had that ability at one time, he doesn't anymore.

That said, I'm seeing some positive signs. First, there was this tweet from Smiths yesterday:

I click on that link only to find that the post has been removed. It's a grey box and that's it.

Secondly, there's the tweets between Drew and Xeni Jardin about the guys all jerking off to that clown porn girl who died of breast cancer (which is a massive deal to Xeni since she's fighting breast cancer herself). Drew said that he wants to get rid of stuff like that. Openly and publicly for anyone to see.

I think Drew is seeing what is going on with his site and is not happy about it. He knows he needs to make some changes to possibly save his business as it now looks like the inmates are running the asylum.

I honestly don't see Smiths being banned that much longer. This isn't a permanent ban at this point. We just need to wait for Drew to do what he has to do to restore some peace at Fark.

Ideally that would mean Tony and the AW are both kicked out permanently, but has much as Tony does there; that might take a bit of time as his duties get reallocated.

That said, if Tony is still a mod after all of this; I'm going to let him have it in the 1st soccer thread I get a chance to blast him in.

Tony is not a mod, he's an administrator. However, that simply makes this situation worse, as the moderators can only delete comments in threads. Administrators have the ability to do everything from clean up threads to ban users by IP if they desire.

Here's how I see it: after his book came out, Drew spent more time doing personal appearances and left his business in the hands of people he felt could trust to keep the place running. People that he'd known for years, that he figured had the same vision for his electronic baby that he did.

However, one of those he trusted has turned into a power mad ass. He has his favorites from the pay side of the site and protects them over all others. He doesn't care that it's causing schisms in the user base, because there are new users all the damn time. He doesn't give a damn about how mad people get, because no one in upper management is willing to call him out on his actions. The louder the outcry against his protected ones, the harder he hits back at those attacking his "delicate flowers".

I suspect Drew is becoming aware that he has management problems. However, he may not be willing to pick managers out of his user base. The ones he has met may appear as drunk, disorderly and attention seeking. Those that he has not met are unknown quantities. So, he's left with the problem of "Do you go with the devil you know, or the devil you don't know" and while he tries to make a decision, chaos reigns.

I don't want to run a duplicate of FARK here. That being said, if anyone wants additional topic areas, such as a place to link articles on current events, music or other sports, just say so and I'll set it up.

To get his attention you have to force the issue. We got a little of that today, and the third party realized pretty quick that there was a ral issue she didn't want involved in. Imagine that happening with people whose reputations are important to them.

I also REALLY encourage people to read the thread where users called out GD. Pay particular attention to what happens when they point out that she was still lying while claiming to have come clean. Also pay attention to how she posts and what she posts.

In that thread she had no air-cover. While obviously someone was looking out for her or she'd have been banned, nobody in power is protecting her. Fast forward 9 months and see what kind of protection she's getting, what happens to those who call her out and what she's posting.

Personally I think the more it is pointed out that mods are breaking rules/abusing members for her, and that she used the site for a scam, the more likely we will see action. But for quick action people Drew needs need to be aware of the situation.

And, to be blunt, they need to see a reliable source of pageviews drop. If people can't get by without Fark wrestling threads for a couple of weeks I feel bad for them.

Actually, you know what, I can see already it's a failed endeavor. People will put up with attention whore bullshit and be scared back into line easily.

Maybe a few of us will actually say FUCK FARK, but the rest will go back to comfortable surroundings, saying "JUST IGNORE HER!", and keep posting to support the people who looooooove their floppy titted attention whores.

I'm really in the "screw FARK" camp, as the only thing that drew me to the site originally was thoughtful discussion of current events. Now, it's all trolls and pancakes. If someone wants to post a link to Wrestlecrap, or sit and converse here, it matters not to me.

Which Wrestlecrap forum, FAN or the Craphole? I'm a member of the latter (though it's been so long I can't even remember my screen name there) while my husband is in FAN (which I find to be as weird in their rule-enforcement as Fark is).

A well known Farker has been using fark users as customers for her own pornographic website. I forget which thread but you know when some chick in a random thread on the internet is coming off as advertising herself and being over the top flirtatious in a sexual manner they are an attention whore.. I acknowledged her once or twice in a thread, checked her profile and because I have more than two brain cells (and she even calls herself an attention whore) her shtick jumped right out at me immediately and I don't even notice her anymore.. Her Fark profile pics scream attention whore, then the link is a dead ringer that she's not on Fark to make friends, she's on Fark to sell subscriptions. That's was my only interaction with her.

She's average at best..

Not ugly but on the internet average = OMGYOUAREASUPERMODEL>#$?%? and gullible people will shower them with cash..

I'll take something that Smiths said to me in our email chain last week (and I'm sure he won't mind me using this here):
