Dranar: hobblekitty: I have already given a mea culpa in relation to the AJ debacle, but since it comes up again I will do so again. I was off my meds I swear. I'm not an AJ fan but I really don't care about her that much either. I still feel bad about it.
My more recent argument with a certain individual however I was genuinely angry when I lost my temper. No appy polly loggies.
And FTR: The gredunza battles are LARPing. A competition by grown adults for a fake wrestling belt is a LARP. I personally always thought the LARPing was a fun interaction between everyone, and I missed it when it went.
Except for the belt competitions, which no one seemed to want to admit was LARPing, or folks were willing to overlook it I guess.
Well, as a counter apology, I did not mean for my example to call you out like that, it was just the first example that came to mind of stuff going beyond what I felt was the more light-hearted back and forth. I don't hold it against you; I'm more thankful for all the stuff you did for the group by far.
Actually my name was the one name you didn't mention, LOL. It's all good man.

i see larping as the "chairshot" and the subsequent "fake match" stuff. with promos.
i can see how the belt thing can be that too, so... touche.

Miracle Whip is NEVER funny OR delicious. *takes Smiths sandwich, tosses it to the cat*

And the excuse will be bbbbbbbut... OLYMPICS!
They had a 3 hour show. They got nowhere near a Gerdunza. It's as if the loss of posters isn't being offset by people who suddenly appeared out of thin air to participate anymore. As if there were people sent to participate to make it look like there was pent up demand being pushed out.
The whole thing is bullshit, as is the claim people were being excluded. Numerous people just jumped in. If someone couldn't do that they either need to stay off the Internet or they are lying.

You didn't call out the Kitty, so no harm, no foul. Hell, the shameless exploitation of AJ by upper management because Barbie Blank wanted time off seriously ground my gears to nubs. I hate seeing Vince and the boys turning an actual female wrestler into a damn toy and the fact that many of our known smarks went total mark on that topic just made me come unglued. So, welcome to Japan.

It all comes down to the fact that the NEW AND IMPROVED THREE HOUR RAW isn't good enough to keep us, the fans, interested. As I said in the Fark thread, 53 minutes of wrestling on a two hour show is a little above average. On a three hour show it's indefensible. Vince is doing exactly what everyone was afraid of; keeping the same amount of wrestling and adding an extra hour of promos and tout and all that bullshit.

Bull... the show isn't any worse than it was 2 months ago when the threads were hitting 1500+. I think it's better than the past few months. Monday's show wasn't godawful, but it wasn't good...just meh. Smiths, you've been redacted...your titles never counted, and last I heard, Drew was going to have your posts completely expunged from Fark.com, so when sifting through archives there are going to be a plethora of [REDACTED]. Your legend will die...you will become more of myth. (sinister laugh)

It's not "better", it's just not worse. I will say that they have toned down some of the annoying stuff, but they haven't managed a single compelling story line in weeks. The build up to the RAW1000 show kind of messed everything up because the main players were an afterthought. They do seem to be getting that they have overdone the Twitter mentions, but it came at the expense of Twitter voting. They certainly do not have enough content for three hours.
They also seem lost about what to do with Punk. They had a chance to go the Austin route but have blown that by going back to scripting whining. He'd have been awesome in that Austin/Roberts mode where maybe he's a heel, maybe he's a face but he just stands alone and does what he does.

Eh, as a total nobody who isn't even a member on fark, and has been lurking the wrestling threads there for a year then started lurking here too, because I don't watch the shows live and watch on dvr, so figured I should just read and keep my mouth shut, but here I am. I just gotta say my personal opinion is that a 3 hour show is just too damn much, and any general manager role is just going to feel forced, even if it's AJ, who I find attractive but zomg, stop forcing her on us already! Seriously, if they forced Adamle this much, he'd be hated too. But back on some sort of a point. The show lately hasn't been terrible, it's just that it hasn't been worthy of 3 hours. And the New FCW vs. Old FCW, I don't care too much, 'cause I was and never will be a member on fark, but as a lurker following all the talk about klik's and such, gotta say that the whole "They can't even get a gredunza!!" thing does sound a bit klik'esh. Alts or random lurkers as they are there, they are at least talking in the thread that y'all made a tradition on Monday nights, why hate on them if they don't get 1004 comments?

God, these 3 hour RAWs are just too much for me. I can handle 2 hour shows, but 3 just drives me to drink, and I don't have a job where I can afford alcohol to drink right now. On the plus side, after 20+ weeks of Monday classes, I'm back to being free on Mondays to watch RAW and participate with the fWc (on Fark, or over here in Japan with all the posters I liked to interact with), Thursdays not so much, but then I've never really watched TNA/IMPACT so no biggie. Ended up losing out on the job I'd been offered up in Fairfax when there was a management change before my official hiring date and it was decided I was surplus. So back to being unemployed. On the plus side, months after the divorce become official, I finally get to move out of the exes spare room and into a place of my own (well, a buddy's place, but said buddy is moving to Maine from here in Richmond, VA) for cheap rent, which means I can see my new gf more often, or at least I can once I get my beat up old minivan fixed up to pass inspection and have mobility once more. That was your update on why LucklessWonder/Miracle Without Fortune/BeltlessWonder's life sucks, now back to your regularly scheduled bitching about Fark moderation, WWE, social media and the distinct lack of pictures of WWE's hottest diva Let me aid that last one:

I'm watching Smackdown on YouTube right now... I'm struck by how much of a better show it is than Raw. More (and better) wrestling, just enough story to keep things interesting, and no Twitter/Tout/social network bullshit.

Properly, you compare this past Thursday's Impact to this Monday's upcoming RAW, as both are the "go home" show leading into the PPV. I'm curious about those numbers myself.
