So posted on Facebook but the Wednesday night thing is hell fuck interesting. announced 1 week before they do it, in the midst of "cancellation" rumors, and cancellation would be September 25. Why move a show 4 weeks before "Cancelling" it? networks do it to shows all the time. I've heard rumors that Spike was going to change it's name or programming anyways. G4 ran cops all the time too... |

Regarding the move: As others have stated, it makes sense with NFL TNF starting up. I'm also wondering if Viacom is also doing this to see if they can still get their 1m viewers if, in fact negotiations are ongoing. The thing that gives me the biggest heebie-jeebies is that Wednesday isn't a traditional wrestling night. I don't know if that means anything anymore, just more of a gut reaction.

The move makes sense to me. Thursdays are going to get clogged. Lot of good regular TV, NXT, Smackdown (allegedly), and football? Wednesday traditionally sucks for TV, so Impact should be just fine.
