I dunno. I don't feel the XPAc heat yet... the crowds enjoy booing the fuck out of her like Vickie. But it does get close to xpac. The Spud reactions help. Plus MVP now, yo It's a fine line between Vickie and X-Pac heat. So far, she is still on the Vickie side. {insert clever signature here}

all the feeds suck for me so I'm watching this episode later but I've read along as it goes and watched parts
OK OK OK Stuff I like:
The investor power struggle, at least there's a voice of reason in the TNAuthority, which is more than can be said for its big-boy counterpart
Bobby fucking Roode is fucking awesome. My #1 favorite person in this entire company.
The Abyss/EY thing is kinda fun actually
Lots of individual efforts are really solid, too many to rattle off. Spud, Magnus, Joe in particular. EC3's getting less green by the appearance. Dixie's even improved slightly. HOWEVER...
FUCK THIS COMPANY:
I cannot fucking stress enough how much I hope for them to just put MVP in charge and get the whole idea of TNA authority people screwing with the talent and playing favorites just going the FUCK away for a while. It'd be nice if Dixie gets written off TV for a while --- like, MONTHS or maybe a year --- as this plays out.
Emo Bully Ray is fucking stupid to me. It's not that it's illogical, it's that it's just fucking bad and lame and why is this on my TV shit. Also, Ken Anderson doesn't do anything for me in this story, it just comes across as something that needs to be blown off as fast as possible, which hopefully happens in the COFFIN NOT CASKET DON'T SAY CASKET match.
I honestly have no idea who they're building to be the next babyface champ but I'd guess it's Roode, and that's cool. HOWEVER... in the meantime a young (like one of TNA's youngest stars) in-his-prime champion looks like he needs help from everyone under the sun to keep his belt. This might change soon I have no idea, but I've never really cared for the "champ behind his wall of goons" thing when those goons are under the direction of the authority figure in the entire company. If it leads to a turnaround/redemption story with Roode, or an AJ return then it's cool. If it's all to build to Jeff Hardy getting the belt again, gag me with a fucking butcher knife please.
I'm just going to come right out and say that I fucking hate all of the announcing in TNA. The ring announcing in particular, though the commentary isn't exactly golden age material either. I don't hate the PEOPLE I just hate their fucking VOICES. It's weird, I know.
OVERALL: this show has some presentation issues, excellent talent, solid long-term planning and for a while now they've been properly executing their storylines, even the ones I don't really care for. It still doesn't have as many people who have gotten my "talent loyalty" as WWE has (though the E just lost Punk, which is like TNA losing Roode) but I'm really starting to like what they're doing. The problems they have need to be addressed, though -- as I've said repeatedly, a smaller company cannot afford to fuck up on some things.
I'd like to see Hemme become THE primary backstage interview person, a new ring announcer, and SOMEONE to bring down the unbelievable amount of hyperbole that Tenay and Borash pour into their commentary. And no I'm not talking about Tazz. It's like having Attitude Era Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler all the time. Remember when Cole would always call heel victory three-counts with "NOT THIS WAY... NOT THIS WAY..." and then 10 seconds later it's Jerry Lawler screaming about puppies? Yeah, that's EXACTLY what TNA's commentary reminds me of.
I think that and the presence of ex-WWE people in any capacity is what leads people to still call them WCW 2.0 since they seem to have shed themselves completely of Hogan, Sting & Bischoff.
