I know people hate these comparisons but TNA kind of reminds me of WWF in 1997 right now. That has probably been said by someone else before, lol. Think about it though -- Hart in mid-negotiations and nobody knows what's gonna happen, a kind of mishmosh of a bunch of established faces where some of them are in need of something big and fresh, lagging behind their big money counterpart but getting something interesting developing amid the chaos, perhaps. I'm hoping they're about to hit their 1998 and 1999, which will mean amazing things in store almost every single week.

I may not make it the entire episode. many drugs in my system. All prescription, and taken as such (sorry, Smiths).
But I will watch this as long as I can!

I like how Dixie got choked up with frustration telling AJ about his contract.

Nice promo work from both men! Neither was amazing, but both were compelling.

Oooooooh, goddamn Gail is an evil bitch!
Think about it, women wrestlers involved in storylines that don't revolve around a shitty reality show

Spud is so much better than Brad Maddox will ever be.
For one thing, he has a personality.

Smiths: i guess taped shows help that way... quarter hours mean shit when you have 6-8 episodes in the can. that's the difference between WWE and TNA in a nutshell: WWE books to the quarter hour, and TNA will spend months and months building up their stories. The Aces and Eights reveal, for example, was awesome. YMMV with the story itself, but...

Erich's Dumb-Ass-Theory: No real emergency, Dixie is just sending Kurt away so that there is nobody left to help AJ. All the faces have been taken out as the show has progressed. Kurt is sent to the airport. And now Sting in a cage match.

i've said it before, but i really love the look of the TNA cages. And having the camera hole has always been smart, too.

I may be a TNA Defender (but not apologist), but even I think this is a li'l soap opera-y. The mood lighting, the music, the overly dramatic dialogue...

Auntie is going to have to watch this episode on the DVR tomorrow night.
After she's drunk.
If you want to know why Auntie will be drunk tomorrow night, go look at general chat. I needed to get that out of my system.

TNA has the Brown Bag deal again, and this time I'm ordering one. $25 for 4 DVDs (the $20 dvds, not the cheap ones), a shirt, a banner (the 3x5 character flag things), and a figure. It's all random, but hell, it's a great deal!

According to a new report on the condition of WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young, she is currently off life support but still said to be in weak physical condition.
When one of her friends in Oklahoma called her, she wasn't strong enough to speak, but she was able to listen. When her friend told her, "you know thousands of people are pulling for you," Young weakly replied, "I know."
