My guess would be that Shawn calls it clean or leans toward Bryan. He's part time. It makes no sense to turn him. I don't think he's worked heel since he found Jesus, anyways, by his choice. Here's the deal with getting heat on the ref: And this is just breaking it down into a logical scenario. If you can't trust the ref, than what trust is there in the rest of the company? Suspension of disbelief, etc., yeah. The ref should be neutral. Yeah, you have the heels working around the ref or turning him in a tag, but that keeps the heat on the wrestlers. They're heels. They cheat. They're awful human beings. Babies should be honorable, have a higher standard. Only cheating when they're justifiably pissed and the heat is that hot. I would hope that the McMahon shit gets wrapped up with Survivor Series. They need to get their comeuppance and get off of TV for a while. This whole angle is a drag. It's been proven that it's tune-out lately. Network executives need to back out of booking wrestling shows and this is the broad I'm looking at:
