I mean, they barely found enough fucks to give to shit on that last segment let alone do any actual cheering.. Philly either loves you, or hates you.. But what you are missing is Jericho is there almost full time. He's been in more matches the last year than Thwagger. More than Mizark. More televised matches than Ryder (with good reason). I could go on and on. Whatever the reason, there are a lot of talented guys who are not there every single week and that's OK, as long as it is handled properly and their role is appropriate. Compare it to the old TV programs and you realize they had a lot of guys who were full time performers but weren't on every week, and this is no different really.
This isn't the Brock scenario. It isn't The Rock. This is a veteran working a lighter schedule, which is really the way it should be, and something a lot of top wrestlers have done over the years. He's not making outrageous demands, nor is he being given opportunities at the expense of younger wrestlers working their way up. He is, in fact, a jobber. A very good, very high profile, jobber. He's a better version of Koko B Ware. He puts on great matches. He does the best he can with the shitty writing/stories. He can work a funny program or a serious program. He can flip heel or face as the needs change.
I'm not a Y2J mark, but I respect the man's talent and, of all the things to hate about WWE, this is one of the smallest, right up there with why King's shirts are so ugly and below the questionable placement of Kendo sticks under the ring.
