Isn't Hunter still a high ranking official for the WWE? Couldn't Paul, a non-wrestler, sure the shit out of the company for that assault?

Nah. Vickie just re-signs him if he loses. On a related note, not seeing Johnny Ace for so long has been awesome.

Just caught the last hour-ish. There's not a whole helluva lot about these 3 hour RAW's that interest me anymore. Couple of thoughts:
- After reading the rundowns of the show, I guess I didn't miss much outside of Punk's promo. This should be must-see TV leading up to 'Mania, but this whole build has fallen flat thanks to hotshotting or not letting things simmer in the pot. Not that they would want to build towards to matches or anything to get people to drop money on the PPV.
- The 3 way was okay, but it struck me as kinda flat. Sometimes it just ain't clicking out there which is how I perceived it. I used to dig Miz, but his stock has cratered, IMO. He needs to be an asshole heel. I don't buy him as a baby. That and dropping people on their heads or missing them when you're supposed to catch them. But that's my professional opinion. As a worker, you give your body to the person you're working with. It plays both ways.
- I enjoyed the Paul E./HHH exchange. Who were the indy workers that were Paul E's "security detail?" I didn't see Paul E. gig, I saw it as hardway. BTW, he's a dead ringer for one of my former sales managers. I even said that to him a few years ago when he stopped by our broadcast location to say hi. I said, "Oh, it's Hurwitz. I was wondering why Paul Heyman's at Summerfest."
- I think it was on the FB page, and I think it was p$ that asked my opinion of Brad Maddox. I couldn't find the post, I might have been intoxicated or something or yelling at kids. My jury is still out on him. He does have a very punchable face. I hear that he's well thought of with some in the office but I'm not familiar with his pre-WWE work. A Bischoff resemblance was mentioned, but I couldn't stand him since the first time I saw him in Minneapolis.

I think we've all resigned ourselves to the idea Ziggler will not be getting the title. In fact the only way I do see them giving it to him is having him cash in at MITB only to have the next MITB winner cash in as soon as they have the case. Something like Ziggler cashes in but gets a severe beatdown. The MITB match goes on and the winner runs backstage and finds Ziggy out cold on a gurney and pins him. They really seem to have no idea what to do with it and that would be an easy way out.
This issue is related to the problem with how the WWE handles Divas. The fact is, AJ is good on the mic and actually good in the ring, but they take women like that and tie them to the guys which gives us stereotypical soap opera stuff like we have here because the writers don't know how to handle women. They are either mouthy and the center of attention, like AJ, or they are eye candy, like Rosa. The division has issues because they are so fixated on looks it's hard to find actual performers, and when they get one who actually worked her way up they have no idea how to use them. It doesn't help that the look is not physically imposing enough to be believable as a wrestler.
The end result is they insert these girls in to story lines with the men and they end up becoming the focus. It's ridiculous to have people who are battling over world championships constantly distracted because "OMG a girl!". Especially when your wrestlers are guys like Dolph "I'll fuck your wife, your girlfriend and your mom" Ziggler and John "Face of the company married man" Cena. That makes no sense. AT least Zack made sense. He'd already done the gaga for a girl thing on his web show.
