My favorite raw moment.. This first clip is from January 4th, 2002 Monday Night Raw. I present this because even though I watch Raw, I'm not a huge mark for Raw moments itself. I still kinda miss the old monday nights with Gorilla and the Brain. I was also at the event. It was the 1st Raw after the brand separation. it was the first time Flair got the upperhand in a separation. Flair was Gm of raw while McMahon served as the GM for Smackdown. Steve austin made his return after leaving for some issues with Mcmahon. feel free to remove yourself from my front yard. now, The Hardy Boys just defeated the Bigg Bossman and Mr Perfect in a tag team match when Brock Lesnar attaks them from the audience. brock and Heyman ran in and on their way into the ring, Brock knocked me over and my soda all over my shirt. they left the same way they came in and I ended up getting a REAL close shot of heymans face. I'll try to find it later. also on this show, Ric Flair presented HHH with the new undisputed belt. here are those clips as well. here are the results from that raw as well. I know you don't care. bite meh Intercontinental Title Match: Champ Rob Van Dam Defeated. Booker T Post match Eddie Guerrero returns after being off TV for almost a year earlier to beat up Van Dam. Spike Dudley defeats EU Champ William Regal in a Non-Title Match Hardcore Title: Bubba Ray Dudley defeats Raven for the Title. Hardy Boys Defeat Mr. Perfect/Big Bossman with Brock in for the Kill afterwards Terri vs. Trish Stratus Paddle on a pole. They’re in bikinis and I think you can figure this one out for yourself. Trish wins Molly comes out and beats up Trish with the paddle before Terri can get spanked. This is a heel turn for Molly. Kane vs. X-Pac NWO runs in for the DQ before the chokeslam hits. Bradshaw makes the save post match. Kane’s pyro takes like 15 seconds to go off for some reason. Here’s Flair with a contract to offer Austin. Vince comes out with a contract of his own and I don’t see this being much of interest. Vince talks about his intellectual sperm inventing pro wrestling (I kid you not he actually said that) and talks about inventing Pay Per View 16 years ago (it was 17 when their first PPV aired but whatever). Austin finally comes out to shut Vince up. Vince immediately sucks up to Austin by praising the new WHAT shirt. Austin doesn’t care but asks about Vince’s contract. We get the WHAT stuff for a bit when it was still relatively new. Austin reminds Vince of all the issues they’ve had in the past and asks Flair if Flair wants Austin to come to Raw. After doing his best Daniel Bryan impression and saying YES about ten times, Flair gets nowhere. Both offers intrigue Austin but he agrees to sign with Vince. Vince gloats but Austin reminds him that it’s April Fool’s Day and there’s a Stunner for Vince. Oh man, it's been a while since I've had a chance to watch Raw. Since the Rumble is less than two weeks away, I'm sure I've missed tons of appearances by the Rock and a great build up to his match with Punk, as well as a ton of other great feuds brewing to set up a fine card at the Royal Rumble.
