Y'know, TNA has been really good about spoilers. For better or worse, save for a couple names, we have no idea who actually is in A&8. No members, and certainly not the leader.

FUCK. I'm so pissed it got pulled from Youtube... WWE had JR do an interview "for the WWE 13 game" with Stone Cold and Punk. The two of them were both visibly uncomfortable with the other (work) and made it basically a promo on one another. It ended with JR asking the great "What If" question with Austin saying the only reason Punk is still champion is because Stone Cold Steve Austin hasn't had a chance to whip his ass yet. After Punk (who was not in RESPECT ME BITCHES mode at all) mocked Austin for staring at the title, he kinda shrugged off his initial reaction to Austin's comments and extended a hand saying, "Hey, it's gonna happen in WWE 13, so in regards to the what if, it'd be 'May The Best Man Win.'" Austin reluctantly shook Punk's hand and said, staring coldly, "Oh, I would. I would." It was better than anything on WWE TV since the Pipe Bomb Promo. Seriously. Fucking spectacular. And now it's gone.  It'll be back though, apparently it was released when it wasn't supposed to be. Can somebody say "Wrestlemania"? Anyway, TNA. yeah... /focus |

i pointed out a couple weeks ago that TNA hadn't planned on being live through the end of the year, so they've had to split the roster, half on TV and half on house shows. That's why we haven't seen Anderson lately.

Potential reasons: 1) It's babyface Punk. Punk's bad now. They don't want happy fun Punk, they want whiny RESPECT ME NAOOOO Punk. 2) It's too early to build up to Wrestlemania, and this could be something they wanted to save for a WWE.com exclusive after a segment on TV makes it more immediately relevant. 3) The match isn't going to happen, and they realized this recently, so they decided "fuck that video then" (this could especially be true if Austin pissed them off or something along those lines) In fact, if it were number 3, it could be that they asked everyone who had a copy of it to get rid of them and someone went "Oh hell no this shit needs to be seen" only to get the WWE-THQ-YouTube Lawyer Voltron up their ass

that was awesome.
hell, i still remember one serious plot thread from the Higher Power storyline that everyone promptly ignored -- The week before Vince was discovered to be the Higher Power, Austin saw who it was under the hood. If he had that knowledge, wouldn't he have gone "Holy shit, guys, it's Vince!!" instead, everyone, him included, was shocked when Vince unmasked.
