they get their brains beaten to mush, hundreds of concussions over the course of their career their bones get broken, tendons ripped, body parts dislocated they basically go out there and beat the living fucking shit out of each other for three hours, with a halftime in between where some old white dude (usually) screams at them for being dumbfucks. I'd need some "FUCK YEAH THAT'S WHAT I'M TALKIN ABOUT" motivation too

and i watch a LOT of hockey.

maybe hockey needs more black people, since in football it seems to be primarily african american in nature.

There are plenty of black guys in hockey, they're just too busy playing fucking hockey to dance around. Hockey doesn't have big breaks in the action like football. Football stops every few seconds and then takes two-three minutes to set up a play. Hockey stops for a few seconds and then play goes on for several minutes.
