While it can't be ruled out that HHH will announce that his in-ring career is over, how it's being handled is just typical WWE bullshit. It's just one major fuck up after another for this company.

John Cena can work a match with Brock Lesnar better than Triple H can. Let that sink in for a while. Just shows you how much of Lesnar's shine from Extreme Rules was lost in this match.
So many things about this PPV annoy me (most of which I touched on in-character)... meanwhile TNA just had their what...fourth good (or better than good) PPV in a row?
Yeesh... I might start posting as Senile Hulk.

As my wizard post stated above, this was a way to get Lesnar's heat back after they protected their golden goose. They realized it was stupid to job him to Cena, so Triple H actually did something good for THIS BUSINESS and not only did the job, he spent 80% of the match selling for the man. Pretty much this.

Alright, got the bar cleaned and some beer and vodak in me. Guess I'll blather on about BummerSlam. I'm more than jaded on the E's product. I got to within a mile of the bar from the radio ranch and forgot to turn my time sheet in so I went back. I like getting paid.
I checked in during Sheamus/ADR. Thought it was an okay match. I liked the finish with the shoe. Heel's second tosses it in out of his reach and the baby catches it and uses it while the ref's turned. Great comeuppance. I hated the deal with ADR putting his foot on the rope. Makes the ref look like a boob. If you wanna do that, it should be the baby getting screwed. But then again, the baby engaged in grand theft auto and got poop in the car on Monday. Makes no sense to me, even within the confines of wrestling.
The tag match was meh. It was just there.
The 3 way with Punk/Show/Cena was what it was. I like that Punk still has the strap. Show got his giant spots in. I liked Punk and Cena locking in their submission holds on Show and Show taps. The match resuming with all three was shit. It should have been Show being eliminated and then Punk and Cena do 15 minutes. He tapped out. Even though it was a stupid 3-way... I hate not having the champ getting pinned for a title transfer. This is a problem with WWE: They are more concerned with pops, with moments than a match that is well worked. They seem to want more "holy shit" moments.
HHH/Lesnar: An okay main, a meh match. The match with Cena was better. I thought it was funny that Paul is queer for the blade and there still wasn't any color. I thought it was obvious that Brock would go over as he would lose any heat if he lost. It's all about Brock. Fuck Punk. Fuck HHH. Fuck anyone that got themselves over. Let's make some movies to go to DVD right away.
Yeah, Summerslam was the drizzling shits. Vince, you are not hollywood. Embrace your inner carny. It will serve you better.

More FTFS: As we mentioned on last night's Summerslam Post-Game show, while a deal with Charlie Sheen wasn't struck for Summerslam, WWE is open and hoping to strike a deal to work with him down the line, presumably Wrestlemania. Damien Sandow and Brodus Clay were scheduled for the PPV but pulled for timing reasons. There was also time cut from the WWE title and Tag title matches last night. Production wanted to make sure there would be enough time for the aftermath of the Lesnar-HHH bout as that scene will be important for the storyline going forward. We have more on that in the Elite section. ALL ABOUT-AH MY STORYLINEAH Fuck this company Good thing you cut that match and all that time from those title matches so you could have a shitty concert from a shitty band that no one cared about. Also, so you could end the show 10 minutes early because people weren't cheering HHH loud enough. There were a lot of good end results that happened during Summerslam, but damn near every one of them felt insulting in the way they were done. After I watched Hardcore Justice last week, I was hard pressed to think of a match I didn't like, but after watching Summerslam, I'm hard pressed to think of a match that didn't have something that pissed me off about it.

They have to get Brock over. They made a major investment on a guy with poor mic skills and limited talent so they have to work hard to make it work. No way will they just write it off as a mistake.

And on that note, another $300K will open RAW tonight. He's not a failure. Brock is not doing anything wrong in this. WWE is doing it wrong. In fact, I haven't really felt like Brock's "phoning it in to get a check". He doesn't reek of "yeah i love doing this!", but then again he's not supposed to give that off at all. He's playing his part fine. Guy comes in, wants to destroy, and doesn't really care about fans' perception. The problem is he's doing this amidst booking that makes no fucking sense. Yeah he broke HHH's arm during the segment with Big Johnny. Yeah there was "payback" required for that. But let's not forget how WWE went about this... they fucking started it with HHH taking up PPV time to announce a challenge. Brock didn't give a shit about breaking HHH's arm after it happened. He did it cuz HHH was getting in the way of Brock dominating WWE via Big Johnny. But then they go all THROW HBK ON THE FIRE THAT'LL GET IT HOTTER, which is nothing but a rehash of fucking Wrestlemania booking. I don't want to see two over-the-hill guys trying to taunt a goddamn monster into a fight that the monster doesn't even give a shit about in the first place. Brock didn't attack HBK to get to HHH; he attacked HBK because HBK kept getting in his face and shit. He beat him up to shut him up. It was stupid. It's sad that he now REALLY has no one left. Cena beat him. Clean. HHH lost. Clean. Who now? Vince? Not even Taker makes any sense so let's not go there. Punk retains until Rumble. Rock faces Punk. Punk wins. Next night on RAW, Rock opens the show. Says Punk beat him fair and square, and he can honestly say that Punk is the Best wrestler In The World today. He's not here to ask for a rematch. He's here for one man. See, The Rock has faced them all. The Hulkster. Stone Cold Steve Austin. Triple H. Brock Lesnar. The Undertaker. The Big Show. John Cena. CM Punk. But there's one man The Rock has never faced. One man, where The Rock doesn't know what would happen if they stepped foot in the ring one-on-one. So The Rock wants to know, what happens when the Trailblazing, Eyebrow-Raising, Jabroni-Beating, Pie-Eating, Worldwide Trending Most Electrifying Superstar in AAAAAAALLL of Entertainment, The People's Champ, THE ROCK.... goes one-on-one against The Boyhood Dream, The Showstopper, The Main Event, The Icon, Mr. Wrestlemania, Mr. Hall-of-Fame, The Heartbreak Kid Shawn Michaels? Cue The Undertaker, who says Rock must go through him to have the right to face Michaels. Rock faces Taker at (whatever they decide to call the PPV between Rumble and Mania now) and Rock wins when Lesnar costs Taker the match. Lesnar vs. Undertaker, Rock vs. Michaels, Punk vs. (Insert Rumble Winner Here, hopefully Daniel Bryan and they make it an Iron Man Match), Ziggler (Champ) vs. Sheamus (Face Chasing Belt) is your Wrestlemania quad-main event.

Hmmm.... that makes too much sense except for Taker wrestling 2 PPVs in a row. He's a 1 night a year performer now and that's it. He can't take a beating anymore without taking 10 months off afterwards. Other than that, I love the idea. Which is the other reason it will never happen unless real Vince kicks the bucket.

They can book Taker-Rock with Taker on offense through the majority of the match and Rock hits his Moves of Doom for the win. A Samoan Drop, spinebuster, People's Elbow and Rock Bottom are all Rock needs. Especially if Lesnar clocks Taker with the ring bell while Rock isn't looking and then sneaks under the ring before Rock's set of moves happens. Taker barely takes any punishment and loses, giving him a reason to want to seek revenge on Lesnar and "make him famous."

Furthermore, Taker-Rock with Rock-Michaels on the line creates a scenario where the crowd wants Taker to lose. Oh yeah, it's the Elimination Chamber PPV too. So Taker vs. Rock, a match between two novelty/nostalgia acts, gets to overshadow both belts AND the most destructive structure of doom and pain and blood and anguish and terror and did we say pain EVER BUILT BY ANYBODY, MAN, ANIMAL OR ALIEN.
Perfect. They could do it like this:
With Taker dominating, Rock hits a desperation Samoan Drop, which knocks over the ref in the process. Lesnar out of nowhere clocks Undertaker with the ring bell after the ref is out and Rock is down. There would be time after the Lesnar shot since both men and the ref are down, so the crowd will have already had time to react to it, and it gives Cole and Lawler time to sell the idea that Rock didn't know it was coming.
Both men stagger to their feet. Spinebuster by Rock. Kip up. Rock looks at the crowd, everyone starts cheering because they realize that this could be the end. Rock hits the elbow and the ref crawls toward the cover, for a two count. Rock stares at the ref in disbelief. Taker sits up, but in pain. Taker blocks a couple of Rocky punches, throws Rock off the ropes, big boot. Rock gets up, Taker grabs him for the chokeslam. Rock breaks the grab, and the pace is methodical as Rock is selling the beatdown he had taken for the majority of the match. Rock goes for the multiple punches (with time in between to sell Taker's prior offense), and after turning to spit his hand, he turns back to deliver the punch only to be caught and scooped up for the tombstone. Rock floats out, spins Taker around, Rock Bottom. 1-2-3.
Rock wins the match and the announcers talk about how the turning point was Lesnar's interference, and that Rock escaped with a victory to get his match against HBK. Taker calls out Lesnar the next night on RAW.
By the end of that RAW, Lesnar-Taker would be all but official, Rock vs. HBK build Week 1 would have us all partying like it's 1999, and we'd be going apeshit over the announcement of Punk vs. Bryan For Sixty Minutes.
Seriously, that PPV would have monster buyrate written all over it. The real-life stuff that would be touched on with Lesnar/Taker, the never-before-seen Dream Match, a sixty minute clinic, and some match that would have very little meaningful build on TV for the World Title. Also, Cena vs. Now A Big Monster Heel Ryback, Jericho vs. The Miz, and Sin Cara vs. Rey Mysterio.
They could literally take a crap in the ring for six weeks as the build to like half of those matches, with the WWE Universe voting on Twitter as to who had the best bowel movement and people Touting about how they'd totally win that contest if you gave them enough Cracklin' Oat Bran and PF Chang's, and you'd still see a monster buyrate.
So yeah, it won't happen, because Vince will immediately think it's stupid since he didn't come up with it.

The problem with Brock is he's boring. They had to bring in Heyman to make a story out of it.
You have to have passion to cut a good promo. Brock has none. And while his very strong, he's sloppy, and part time work isn't going to make that better. What they are doing with him just makes a bad situation worse. And there's not even any upside because so far he's worked with Cena (Doesn't need a push) and HHH (needs to retire from the ring).

Smiths: and seriously... Lesnar beating an old old old Grandpataker won't impress anyone. and Grandpa beating him will just be like "okay, now you're REALLY done goodbye".But there is the backstory between Brock and UT after UFC 121... I'm still of the opinion that they're overthinking this shit.
